NO MORE SNOW!

Oh my gosh.  The snow start before Thanksgiving and now that it's January 2, we are SICK of it!  The forecast is for below 0 weather the next few days.  Hopefully that means NO MORE SNOW!

This is a picture of the doggies in all the snow.  They went crazy chasing each other around in between chomping down snow.  They love it.  It's like puppy cocaine, whipping them into a frenzy.  There were many snowballs on their feet & legs after their romp.

Happy New Year to everyone.  I hope you are all safe and warm in this cold weather we are having.  If you live somewhere warm, count me envious!

OWH Sketch #195

So I finally got my scanner hooked up and working with my Macbook.  ONLY 3 years later (not quite, but who's counting)!  ANYWAY, I wanted to get in one card today for the OWH Sketch #195 as well as last weeks Midweek Throwdown: Snow Much Fun.  I think this turned out lovely.

All items used on this card are from Gina K. Designs except the Black Ink (Club Scrap) and Ribbon (Stampin' Up!).  The printed paper is from the Winter Whimsy Kit and the stamps are both from the current Incentive set "You Melt My Heart."  I just love this little guy!

OWH Sketch #194

Today's cards were inspired by Operation Write Home's Sketch #194.  I'm trying to make some nice Valentine's cards for them (and maybe keep a few for myself)!  Hope you like them!

This one is on an Amuse CS Base.  I'm not sure who the patterned paper is by, as there is nothing on it.  Got it at my LSS.  The yellow, orange, & pink plain CS is SU! as is the stamp "LOVE".

The second card is on an Amuse CS Base with SU! plain CS used as well.  The patterned paper is doodlebug design inc. LOVEBIRDS.  The Ribbon is SU! also.  The cage and bird are Sizzix die cuts.

Authentique Fresh Cards

Todays inspiration was from the owner of my LSS Stamp Scrap n' More http://www.stampscrapnmore.com.  Peggy made a cute little set of cards with the Authentique Fresh 6X6 Bundle.  Her cards were small and had a nice little box.  I made mine normal A2 size. I think they turned out lovely.

So using the inspiration of OWH's sketch #193 I created this card.  Not too shabby!  I used 2 pieces of scraps leftover from a Basic Grey 6X6 marrakech paper pad.  Hope you like it!

Da Bears!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL??????  My Bears are playing the Saints at noon today.  Gotta get a move on to the gym and MAYBE get my nails done before then.  Lot's to do before the game.  GO BEARS!!!!!

After Christmas Sales

OK, so I didn't get up at the a$$ crack of dawn yesterday to take advantage.  I did however, go to Target late tonight.  I was pleasantly surprised to find they still had a ton of gift bags and matching tissue papers.  I cleaned up and have enough for the next two years I think!  I also got some great Bodycology sets that I'll keep for small cousin gifts next year.  SCORE!!!!!
